South Florida’s cultural scene is rapidly growing and full of burgeoning artists that desire to be seen and heard. Founder of A.R.T. Live (A Reason To Live), Lola Chél created the event series (4 events annually) for artists to have a platform to display their talents and also to give back to the community.
On Sunday June 26th, A.R.T. Live held their Summer Styles event at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center in Miami, which featured selections from 3 fashion designers.
Designer Natasha Ford brought form fitting bold looks to the stage with her custom made dresses and two pieces from The Rarest Diamond “CV collection,” named after her son, Christian.
Stylist and former model, Fab Amore presented YSIOB (Your Style Is Our Business) Swimwear, which proved to be edgy with the cutout and graphic detailing. YSIOB is an extension of More Than A Mannequin LLC (which Fab Amore launched in 2014), a wardrobe & life styling firm, which houses intuitive and creative stylists.
ForeverDoyge by Markquis Kordale revealed African inspired pieces with vibrant prints that are all custom made. The collection is comprised of clothing for both men and women.
